Vashishtha Cave

Vashishtha cave is another perfect place for deep meditation. If meditation interests you then this is a must visit place. There is always someone inside the pitch dark cave, whom you will find meditating. It is said the sage Vashishtha meditated at this cave. It is located on the Rishikesh-Badrinath route.

Just below the cave is a less explored beautiful white sand beach where you could sit on the rocks and empty your mind from all the stress. It is one quiet place you could bring your book to and just sit beside a rock on the sand and enjoy your book. Also, you could try your hands on deep meditation at the river bank.
